If you are driving from central Sefwi, head northwest on the main road towards the Sawla-Damongo Road. Follow this road for approximately 30 kilometers. You will pass through small villages and lush landscapes. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Larabanga. The mosque is located at 34 Sawla-Damongo Rd, Larabanga. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation (Tro-Tro)
To reach the Larabanga Mosque via public transportation, first find a tro-tro station in Sefwi. Board a tro-tro heading towards Larabanga or Sawla. The fare is generally around 3-5 GHS (Ghanaian Cedi). The journey can take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on the number of stops. Once you arrive in Larabanga, ask the driver to drop you near the mosque, which is located at 34 Sawla-Damongo Rd.
Walking
If you are already in Larabanga, you can walk to the mosque from the center of the village. Just head towards the main road (Sawla-Damongo Rd) and follow it until you see the mosque on your left. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes, and it’s a great way to take in the local scenery.
