Upon arrival at the Elmina bus station, exit the trotro and ask locals for directions to Elmina Castle, which is a short 10-minute walk from the station.

Upon arrival at the Takoradi or Cape Coast terminal, take another trotro or taxi to Elmina. Elmina Castle is well-signposted; ask the driver to drop you off near the castle. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to the castle entrance.
