Getting There

Car
From Wli Nature Reserve, head west on the main road toward Ho. Continue on the road for about 35 kilometers until you reach the junction for the R82. Turn left onto the R82 and drive straight for approximately 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Kakum National Park along the way. The park entrance is located just off the R82. Note that there may be a small entrance fee for the park.

Public Transportation
From Wli Nature Reserve, take a shared taxi or trotro (minibus) to Ho. This ride typically takes around 30-45 minutes. Once in Ho, find a trotro heading to Cape Coast or Elmina. You will need to inform the driver that you intend to stop at Kakum National Park. This leg of the journey can take around 1.5 to 2 hours. When you reach the R82 junction, you may need to walk a short distance to the park entrance, or you can negotiate with a taxi to take you the final stretch. Be prepared for a small entrance fee at the park.
