From the entrance of Alameda Botanic Gardens, proceed straight along the main path. Continue walking until you reach the first junction. At this junction, turn left to stay on the main pathway. Keep walking until you reach the end of the gardens, where you'll find the exit. Once you exit the gardens, turn right onto South Barrack Road. Continue walking for about 300 meters, and you will see a path leading up the hill on your left. Follow this path, which will take you up to the top of the hill. As you ascend, you will find directional signs pointing towards Devil's Tongue Battery. Keep following the path until you reach the battery, enjoying the views along the way.
