Getting There

  • Walking

    From the beach area of Catalan Bay, head north towards the main road (Catalan Bay Road). Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk along the road for about 15 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful views of the bay and some residential areas. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the road, where you will see signs for the UNESCO World Heritage Site Gorham's Cave. Follow the signs to the cave entrance, which is located just a short distance from the roundabout.

    Alternatively, if you are near the Catalan Bay Hotel, exit the hotel and walk towards the main road. Turn left onto Catalan Bay Road and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, follow the signs for Gorham's Cave and walk towards the entrance, which will be well-marked.

    If you are at the very eastern end of Catalan Bay, walk towards the west along the waterfront, enjoying the beach views. Continue until you reach the main road (Catalan Bay Road). Turn right and continue walking for approximately 10-15 minutes. Eventually, you will arrive at the roundabout where you can follow the signs leading to Gorham's Cave.
