Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main entrance of the Alameda Botanic Gardens, exit onto the main road. Turn left and walk down the road until you reach the junction with the main street known as Main Street. Continue straight and follow the signs towards Europa Point. You will walk past the iconic cable car station. Keep walking for about 20 minutes, enjoying the views of the Mediterranean Sea on your right. As you approach Europa Point, you will see the lighthouse in the distance. Follow the path leading directly to the Europa Point area, where you will find beautiful views and the famous lighthouse.

    From the Alameda Botanic Gardens, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Main Street. Take the number 3 bus towards Europa Point. The bus will take you directly to Europa Point, and the journey should take about 15 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you are heading to Europa Point. Once you arrive, you can easily access the viewpoint and the lighthouse.
