Getting There

Cable Car
The most convenient way to reach St. Michael's Cave is by taking the Gibraltar Cable Car from the base station near the Alameda Gardens. A round trip ticket including Nature Reserve access costs approximately £49.00 for adults and £31.00 for children (4-11 years). The cable car ascends to the Top of the Rock in about 6 minutes. From the top station, it's a downhill walk of approximately 15-20 minutes (0.9km) to the cave entrance. Note that between April and October, the cable car may not stop at the middle station.

For those who prefer to walk, St. Michael's Cave is accessible on foot from Gibraltar Town. From the town center, follow signs towards the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.
