    Getting There

    Walking

    From Casemates Square, head south along Main Street. Turn left onto Engineer Lane, which becomes a steep uphill climb. Continue following signs for the Gibraltar Nature Reserve. This route leads to the Charles V Wall entrance, one of the access points to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Note that a Nature Reserve ticket is required for entry, which costs £30 for adults. Walking to the top can take 1.5 to 3 hours.

    Cable Car

    The Gibraltar Cable Car base station is located at Grand Parade, near the southern end of Main Street. A return ticket costs £19, in addition to the £30 Nature Reserve entrance fee. The cable car ascends to the Top of the Rock in approximately 6 minutes. From the top station, you can access various attractions within the Nature Reserve, including the Skywalk and St. Michael's Cave.

    Public Transport

    From the Gibraltar border, take a bus to the city center. From there, you can walk to the Cable Car station or take a taxi to the Nature Reserve entrance. Bus tickets cost just over £2 for a day ticket. Taxis are readily available but agree on a fare before starting your journey.

    Purchase a Nature Reserve ticket to access most attractions on the Rock, including St. Michael's Cave and the Windsor Suspension Bridge.
