    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving from Gibraltar Harbour, head southwest on the A302 road. Follow the road until you reach the junction with the A1. Turn right onto the A1 and continue until you see the signs for O'Hara's Battery. You'll need to navigate through town, so look for signs directing you to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. There is limited parking near the entrance, so be prepared to walk a short distance to the battery itself.

    Public Transportation

    To reach O'Hara's Battery using public transportation, take the 5 bus from the Gibraltar Bus Station located near the harbour. The bus will take you towards the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Get off at the stop closest to O'Hara's Battery (ask the driver to let you know when you arrive). From there, it's a short walk up Ohara's Road to reach the entrance of the battery. The bus fare is approximately £1.50.

    Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and prefer to walk, you can start from the Gibraltar Harbour area. Walk east towards the Main Street and follow it up to the A1. From there, head to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve entrance, which is about a 30-minute walk. Once you reach the reserve, follow the signs for O'Hara's Battery, which is located at the top of Ohara's Road. Be prepared for a steep incline as you make your way up the hill.
