Walking
From the center of Main Street, head south towards the end of the street. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Governor's Parade. At this junction, turn left onto Governor's Parade and follow it until you reach the entrance to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. There will be signs indicating the direction to the Mediterranean Steps. Once you enter the reserve, look for the trailhead for the Mediterranean Steps, which is well-marked. Follow the steps up the hill, and enjoy the scenic views as you ascend.

If you are near the Main Street bus stop, exit the bus and head towards the nearby Waterport Road. Walk straight down Waterport Road until you reach the entrance to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Follow the signs directing you to the Mediterranean Steps from there. The trail will begin shortly after you enter the reserve, and you will be able to see the rocky path leading upwards.
