Getting There

• Walking

  From the main entrance of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, follow the well-marked trails towards the Upper Rock area. The walk to the Windsor Suspension Bridge takes approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the way to the bridge. Note that the path may be steep and winding, so it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Access to the Windsor Suspension Bridge is free, as it is included with the Upper Rock Nature Reserve ticket. Tickets to the Nature Reserve can be purchased at the entrance.

• Public Transport

  Several bus lines have routes that pass near the Windsor Suspension Bridge. From the bus stop at Lower Flat Bastion Road, it is a short 3-minute walk to the entrance of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. Bus lines 1, 2, 3 and 4 all stop here. From the Cable Car - Lower Station (City) bus stop, it is approximately a 40-minute walk to the Windsor Suspension Bridge. Bus fares in Gibraltar typically cost around £2.00 for a single journey. A Nature Reserve ticket is required to access the bridge.

• Car

  If traveling by car, navigate to the entrance of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the entrance. From the parking area, follow the walking paths that lead to the Windsor Suspension Bridge, approximately a 20-30 minute walk. Parking fees may apply. A Nature Reserve ticket is required to access the bridge. Note that private vehicles are not allowed within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve.
