Getting There

Walking
From St. Michael's Cave, exit the cave complex and follow the path leading down towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk along the pathway until you reach the entrance of the Gibraltar Nature Reserve. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the main road leading to the town of Estepona. At this junction, turn right and follow the road signs directing you towards Estepona. After a short walk, you will see signs for Castillo de San Luis on your left.

From St. Michael's Cave, exit and head towards the bus station located in the town center. You can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to the bus station. Once at the bus station, look for a bus heading to Estepona. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, get off at the stop closest to Castillo de San Luis. Follow the signs to the castle, which is usually a short walk away.
