Getting There

  • Metro

    If you are starting from Syntagma Square, take the Metro Line 3 (the Blue Line) towards Nikaia. Ride for 3 stops and get off at Monastiraki Station. Once at Monastiraki, follow the signs to exit the station towards the square. As you exit, head towards the Monastiraki Flea Market. Walk straight along Ifestou Street until you reach the square. Abyssinia Square is located just off the main road, on Plateia Avissinias.

  • Walking

    If you are near Monastiraki, you can simply walk to Abyssinia Square. From Monastiraki Square, head towards the Monastiraki Flea Market. Walk through the market, and as you exit, continue straight onto Ifestou Street. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Plateia Avissinias, where you will find Abyssinia Square.

  • Bus

    If you are near Omonia Square, you can take Bus 051 from Omonia Square towards Monastiraki. The bus stop is located at Omonia Square. After about 10 minutes, get off at the Monastiraki stop. From there, follow the previous walking instructions to reach Abyssinia Square.
