Getting There

• Metro

  Start your journey at any metro station in Athens. If you're near Syntagma Station, take the Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards Anthoupoli. Get off at the next stop, which is Acropolis Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs for the Acropolis Museum.

• Walking

  From Acropolis Station, head towards the Acropolis Museum, which will be on your left. Continue walking straight on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street until you reach the intersection with Irodou Attikou Street. Turn left onto Irodou Attikou Street, and you will find the Spanish Fountain at number 21 on your right.

• Bus

  If you're starting from a different part of Athens, you can take any bus that stops near Syntagma Square. From there, follow the Metro directions provided above. Alternatively, you can take bus number 550 or 400 to the 'Zappeion' stop, which is a short walk from the fountain.

• Taxi

  For the most direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Athens. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Irodou Attikou 21' or 'Spanish Fountain'. The ride should be straightforward, and most taxi drivers are familiar with the area.
