Getting There

• Metro

  Take the Metro Line 1 (Green Line) from any central station like Omonia or Monastiraki towards Kifisia. Get off at the 'Omonia' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Stadiou Street. Turn left on Stadiou Street and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Loannou Paparrigopoulou Street. Turn right onto Loannou Paparrigopoulou Street and you will find the museum at number 5-7 on your left.

• Bus

  Find a bus stop for the buses that go towards Syntagma Square. Buses 040, 550, and 227 are good options. Get off at the Syntagma Square stop. From Syntagma Square, head towards Stadiou Street. Walk along Stadiou Street until you reach the intersection with Loannou Paparrigopoulou Street. Turn right onto Loannou Paparrigopoulou Street, and the museum will be at number 5-7 on your left.

• Walking

  If you are near Syntagma Square, you can simply walk to the museum. Head towards Stadiou Street, which is the main street leading away from the square. Walk straight for about 15 minutes, passing by shops and cafes. When you reach the intersection with Loannou Paparrigopoulou Street, turn right. The museum will be located at number 5-7 on your left.

• Taxi

  You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Athens. Just tell the driver 'Μουσείο της Πόλεως των Αθηνών' or provide the address: 'Loannou Paparrigopoulou 5-7'. The driver will take you directly there. The museum is located in the city center, so the fare should be reasonable.
