Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Acropolis Museum, exit the museum and head south on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Syngrou Avenue. Turn left onto Syngrou Avenue and then take the first right onto Apostolou Pavlou Street. Follow this street as it curves to the right, and you will see the entrance to Philopappos Hill on your left. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

  • Metro

    From Syntagma Station, take Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards the airport. Get off at the 'Monastiraki' station. Exit the station and head towards the Ancient Agora. From the Agora, walk southwest towards the base of Philopappos Hill. Look for signs directing you to the hill's entrance. This journey will take around 30 minutes, including walking time.

  • Bus

    You can catch Bus 060 or 230 from the 'Syntagma' bus stop. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Philopappou' stop. From there, head west along the road until you reach the entrance to Philopappos Hill. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to the hill entrance is approximately 5 minutes.
