Metro
Take the Metro Line 1 (Green Line) from Monastiraki Station towards Kifisia. Get off at the Acropolis Station. From Acropolis Station, exit the station and walk towards the Acropolis Museum. Once you reach the museum, turn left onto Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Rovertou Galli Street. Turn right onto Rovertou Galli Street and walk for about 250 meters. The Prison of Socrates will be on your left at number 43.
Bus
Catch Bus 550 from Syntagma Square, heading towards Kifisia. Get off at the stop named 'Akropolis'. From there, head towards the Acropolis Museum. Once you reach the museum, turn left onto Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Rovertou Galli Street. Turn right onto Rovertou Galli Street and walk about 250 meters to find the Prison of Socrates at 43 Rovertou Galli.
Walking
If you are near the Acropolis area, simply walk towards the Acropolis Museum. From the museum, head left onto Dionysiou Areopagitou Street. Walk straight for approximately 500 meters until you reach Rovertou Galli Street. Turn right onto Rovertou Galli and continue for about 250 meters. The Prison of Socrates will be located on your left at 43 Rovertou Galli.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi from your current location. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Prison of Socrates' at 43 Rovertou Galli Street. Taxis in Athens are quite affordable and can get you there directly without needing to navigate public transportation.
