    From Monastiraki Square, walk north along Athinas Street. Turn left onto Sofokleous Street, then take the second right onto Agion Anargyron street; the Psiri Walkway is a short walk from there. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes. Be aware that some streets are narrow and can be crowded.

  • Public Transport

    Take the Metro to Monastiraki station, which is served by lines 1 and 3. From there, follow the walking directions above. A single metro ticket costs €1.40 and is valid for 90 minutes on all public transport (excluding airport routes). A day pass costs €4.50.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are readily available throughout Athens. Ask to be dropped off at the perimeter of Psiri, as the interior streets are narrow and often congested. A typical taxi fare from Syntagma Square to Psiri ranges from €13-€20 and the base fare is €1.80. Be sure the driver sets the meter at the beginning of the journey.
