If you are driving, set your GPS to the address Pelopida, Athens 105 55. From central Athens, head towards Omonia Square and take the exit towards 3 September Street. Continue straight and merge onto Stadiou Street, then turn right onto Athinas Street. Follow Athinas until you reach the intersection with Pelopida. The Old Madrasa Gate will be on your left side. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to park a short distance away and walk.
Metro
To reach the Old Madrasa Gate by Metro, take Line 1 (Green Line) towards Piraeus and get off at Omonia Station. From Omonia, transfer to Line 2 (Red Line) towards Elliniko and get off at the next stop, Monastiraki. Once you exit the station, walk towards Athinas Street and continue straight until you reach Pelopida. The Old Madrasa Gate will be on your left. The total travel time is approximately 20 minutes.
Bus
To get to the Old Madrasa Gate by bus, find a bus stop near you that services routes heading towards Omonia Square. Buses 20, 25, and 27 are good options. Board the bus and ride until you reach Omonia Square. From there, walk towards Athinas Street and continue until you reach Pelopida. The Old Madrasa Gate will be on your left. The bus ride may take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Monastiraki, you can walk to the Old Madrasa Gate. From Monastiraki Square, head towards Athinas Street and walk straight for about 10 minutes. When you reach the intersection with Pelopida, turn left, and you will see the Old Madrasa Gate shortly after on your left.
