Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Athens. Head towards Vasilissis Sofias Avenue and continue straight. At the intersection, turn left onto Irodou Attikou Street. Continue along Irodou Attikou, and you will find the Spanish Fountain located at Irodou Attikou 21, Athina 105 57. There is limited street parking available, so be prepared to find a spot nearby or use a parking garage if necessary. Note that parking may incur fees, typically around €2-3 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach the Spanish Fountain using public transportation, take the Metro Line 1 (Green Line) and get off at the Monastiraki station. From Monastiraki, walk towards Ermou Street and head towards Syntagma Square. At Syntagma Square, continue walking down Vasilissis Sofias Avenue until you reach Irodou Attikou Street. Turn left onto Irodou Attikou Street, and you will find the Spanish Fountain at Irodou Attikou 21. The total journey should take approximately 25-30 minutes. A single metro ticket costs €1.40.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, you can board buses that stop at Syntagma Square. Lines 550, X95 (Airport Bus), and others frequently service this area. Once you arrive at Syntagma Square, walk towards Vasilissis Sofias Avenue. Continue walking along Vasilissis Sofias Avenue until you reach Irodou Attikou Street. Turn left on Irodou Attikou, and the Spanish Fountain will be on your left at Irodou Attikou 21. The bus fare is around €1.40 for a single journey.
