If you're driving to Philopappos Hill from central Athens, start on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue and head southwest. Continue onto Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, then take a left onto Amalias Avenue. Follow the road until you reach the intersection with Dionysiou Areopagitou Street, where you'll turn right. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the park. There is parking available nearby, but it can be limited during peak hours.
Public Transportation
To reach Philopappos Hill via public transportation, take the Metro Line 1 (Green Line) to Monastiraki Station. From Monastiraki, transfer to Metro Line 3 (Blue Line) and head towards Doukissis Plakentias, getting off at Syngrou-Fix Station. Exit the station and walk towards the intersection of Syngrou Avenue and Vasilissis Amalias Street. From there, you can follow the signs leading to Philopappos Hill, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill from the station. Alternatively, you can catch bus number 230 from Syngrou Avenue and get off at the stop 'Filopappou'.
