Getting There

Car

If you are driving, start from central Athens. Head north on the A1/E65 toward Kifissia. Continue on this road until you reach the junction for the A6 towards Markopoulo. Take the exit toward Cholargos, and then follow the signs for Cholargos. Use GPS or a maps app to navigate to the exact address: Cholargos 155 62. Parking is available near the base of Runner Peak.
Public Transportation

To reach Runner Peak via public transportation, start at Syntagma Square in central Athens. Take Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Doukissis Plakentias. Get off at the Cholargos station. From there, you can either walk to the address Cholargos 155 62, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk, or take a local bus (line 550) that stops nearby. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times.

Once you arrive at Cholargos, if you choose to walk to Runner Peak, head north on Kifisias Avenue. After about 1 km, turn left onto the smaller street leading towards the peak. Follow this road as it winds upward until you reach the viewing area. The hike is moderately challenging and takes about 30 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes.
