Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Old Venetian Harbor, head east along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking until you reach the end of the harbor where you will see the lighthouse. From there, turn left onto Kydonias Street and walk straight. After about 500 meters, you will reach Pl. 1821 (Square of 1821). The memorial stone is located at the corner of the square.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Chania Bus Station (Ktel), take bus number 21, which heads towards the city center. Get off at the stop 'Kydonias'. From there, walk east along Kydonias Street for about 300 meters until you reach Pl. 1821. The 1821 Memorial Stone is located at the square right next to you.

• Walking from the Municipal Market

  Starting from the Municipal Market of Chania, head south towards Halidon Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kydonias Street. Turn left on Kydonias Street and walk about 400 meters. You will arrive at Pl. 1821, where the 1821 Memorial Stone is located.

• Taxi or Ride-share

  If you prefer a faster option, you can take a taxi or use a ride-share app. Simply input 'Pl. 1821, Chania' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the square where the 1821 Memorial Stone is located.
