Start at the center of Chania, near the Venetian Harbor. Head southwest towards Kydonias Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Halidon Street. Turn left onto Halidon Street and follow it until you reach the square. From the square, take Kallergon Street heading towards the old town. Walk through the old town, enjoying the beautiful architecture, until you arrive at the Church of Elijah the Prophet, located on a small hill just outside the main city area.

From the center of Chania, you can take a local bus towards the nearby villages. Get on the bus that heads towards the Agia Marina area. Inform the driver to drop you off near the Church of Elijah the Prophet. The bus will take you part of the way, and from there, it’s a short walk uphill to the church. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as they may not run frequently.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Chania. Start from the Venetian Harbor and head towards the outskirts of the city via the coastal road.
