Walking
If you are starting from the Chania Old Town (around the Venetian Harbor), walk towards the harbor. As you face the water, head left along the waterfront promenade. Continue walking past the numerous cafes and shops. You'll soon see the Maritime Museum of Crete on your left. Keep walking straight; the Museum of Ancient Shipbuilding is located at the end of the harbor area near the Neorio Moro. It should take around 10-15 minutes on foot from the Old Town.

From the central bus station in Chania, take a local bus that heads towards the Old Town. You can ask the driver if they stop near the Venetian Harbor. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the harbor, and follow the waterfront to your left until you reach the Museum of Ancient Shipbuilding at Neorio Moro.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in the Old Town. Cycle towards the harbor area and follow the promenade along the water. It’s a straightforward route, and you can enjoy beautiful views along the way. The Museum of Ancient Shipbuilding is at the end of the harbor, at Neorio Moro.
