Day Trip to Saranda & Butrint National Park (Optional) from Corfu

Our First Albanian Visit ever

We were very happy to book at relatively short notice (2 days), and also to have a pick up close to our Corfu accommodation. This meant we were guided from the time we boarded the coach, so didn't have to search out where to go at the port. After passport control we boarded the ferry and paid the €20 per person Albanian tourist tax. At Saranda, we walked right on to the coach to take us to the Butrint National Park. We had an excellent Albanian English speaking guide, and so we enjoyed our visit to that amazing archaeological site, full of ruins and history from many eras. Buffet lunch was provided, which embraced gluten free provision. Back in Saranda we had some time to explore before taking the ferry back to Corfu. A memorable day.

I can’t say enough positive things about Gert and this experience. First I would like to mention how great his communication was. I messaged him right when I booked and had a few questions and he always took the time to answer me quickly. Second, he was incredibly kind and hospitable and I felt like I was with a life long friend. Third, he is extremely knowledgeable and makes the history so interesting. He answered all my questions, we chatted the entire way, listened to music and had a great time. Highly highly recommend taking a day and doing this tour!!!
