From Heraklion, take the KTEL bus from the main bus station (Bus Terminal A) to Mires. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Mires, transfer to another KTEL bus heading to Kokkinos Pirgos. The bus ride from Mires to Kokkinos Pirgos takes approximately 20 minutes. The bus will drop you off near the beach area, and from there, it's a short walk to Kokkinos Pirgos Beach.

If you are in Chania, take a KTEL bus to Rethymno. From Rethymno, transfer to a KTEL bus to Mires. Finally, switch to a KTEL bus that goes to Kokkinos Pirgos. This route may take around 2 to 2.5 hours in total, depending on waiting times for transfers.

From Agios Nikolaos, take a KTEL bus to Ierapetra. From Ierapetra, you can take another KTEL bus to Mires. Once in Mires, catch the bus to Kokkinos Pirgos. After arriving at Kokkinos Pirgos, follow the signs to the beach, which is located a short distance from the bus stop.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any nearby town or city. For example, from Heraklion, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to reach Kokkinos Pirgos Beach. Just provide the driver with the beach's address: Unnamed Road, Kokkinos Pirgos 702 00.
