Getting There

Bus
From Chania, head to the main bus station in Ktel Chania, located at 1866 Square. Take a Ktel bus to Agios Nikolaos, which takes approximately 2 hours. Once you arrive in Agios Nikolaos, you need to transfer to another Ktel bus towards Sitia, which will take about 30 minutes. Get off the bus at the stop 'Exo Mouliana'. From there, follow signs to Richtis Gorge, which is about a 15-20 minute walk down the road.

Bus and Hiking
If you are starting from Heraklion, go to the Ktel bus station near the port and take a bus to Agios Nikolaos. This journey will take roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once in Agios Nikolaos, transfer to the bus heading towards Sitia. Disembark at 'Exo Mouliana'. From there, follow the signs for Richtis Gorge, which will require a short hike of about 20 minutes along the path leading to the gorge.

If you are already in Exo Mouliana, start at the village square. Head east on the EΟ Αγίου Νικολάου Σητείας road. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will find the entrance to Richtis Gorge on your left side. The trail is marked, and it will take about 30 minutes to hike to the gorge itself.
