If you are in Heraklion, head to the central bus station located at 1866 Square. From there, take the bus to Arkalochori, which is a direct route. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Arkalochori, disembark at the main bus stop. From the bus stop, walk straight down the main road (Ethniki Odos) for about 15 minutes until you reach the village of Alagni. The Lyrarakis Winery & Tasting Room will be on your right-hand side.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Heraklion to Lyrarakis Winery. Simply ask the driver to take you to Alagni, Arkalochori. The journey will take about 25 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the approximate fare before starting your journey.

For those staying nearby in Alagni, you can easily walk to the winery. Depending on your starting point, navigate to the main village square and follow the signs directing you towards the winery. It’s a pleasant 10-minute walk through the village, and you can enjoy the local scenery along the way. Just head towards the outskirts of the village, and you will see the winery’s entrance on your left.
