Bus
From Heraklion, take the KTEL bus from the central bus station. Look for the bus heading to 'Archanes'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Archanes, disembark at the main square. From there, head southwest on Epar.Od. Archanon - Kato Archanon for about 1 km until you reach the foot of Mount Juktas.
Taxi
You can also take a taxi from Heraklion to Mount Juktas. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Mount Juktas' or 'Archanes'. The ride will take around 20-25 minutes. Once you arrive in Archanes, ask the driver to drop you at the foot of the mountain, where you can begin your hike.
Walking
If you are already in Archanes, you can walk to Mount Juktas. Start at the main square and head southwest on Epar.Od. Archanon - Kato Archanon. Continue walking straight for about 1 km. You will see signs indicating the path to Mount Juktas. The hike will take approximately 30 minutes from the foot of the mountain to the summit.
