Once you arrive in Plakias, exit the bus station and walk towards the beach. Follow the beach promenade until you reach the end of the beach. From there, take a right turn onto the path leading to Finikas. The Old Plakias Tunnels are located roughly 2 km along this path, and you will see signs guiding you.

    If you are in Rethymnon, go to the Rethymnon Bus Station (Ktel). Take a bus to Plakias. The ride will take about 1 hour. Upon arriving in Plakias, head towards the beach, then follow the beach promenade until you come to the end of the beach. Turn right onto the path leading towards Finikas. The Old Plakias Tunnels are about 2 km from there, and follow the signs along the way.
