Getting There

• Bus

  To reach Vossakos Monastery from Heraklion, take the KTEL bus from the Heraklion bus station. Look for the bus heading towards Rethymno. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Dimos Geropotamou' stop. From there, the monastery is about a 30-minute walk. Head southeast on the main road (Epar.Od. Rethimnou - Irakleiou) until you see signs for Vossakos Monastery.
