European Cultural Centre of Delphi: A Modern Hub of Ancient Inspiration

The European Cultural Centre of Delphi (ECCD) stands as a testament to Greece's enduring commitment to culture and intellectual exchange. Established in 1977, inspired by Konstantinos Karamanlis, the center aims to serve international cultural interests and develop common cultural principles. The Conference Centre and Guesthouse, designed in the 1960s by Kostas Kitsikis and Anthony Lampakis, exemplify the Modern Movement in architecture, with autonomous buildings that follow the mountain's slope, featuring large windows and patios.
