If you're near Rhodes Old Town, walking to the Windmills is straightforward. Head towards Mandraki Harbor and follow the waterfront promenade. Keep the sea on your right, and the windmills will become clearly visible. The walk is approximately 15 minutes from the Old Town entrance.
Public Transport
To reach the Rhodes Windmills via public transport, take a local bus from the Rhodes central bus station towards the Old Town or Mandraki Harbor. Disembark at the Mandraki Harbor stop. From there, walk along the waterfront, following the signs to the Windmills, which are visible from the harbor area. It's a pleasant stroll of about 10 minutes. Bus fares typically cost around €1.20 for urban routes.
Car
If driving, head towards Mandraki Harbor. Parking is available near the harbor area, but it can be limited, especially during peak season. Look for color-coded road markings: white lines indicate free 24-hour parking, while blue lines mean a ticket is required (except on Sundays).
