Outstanding!!
Was an extraordinary experience. A must see place!! A whole island turned into an open archeological site. The tour operator was so helpful to help resolve our initial problem where the driver left us.

Worth the trip to see the birthplace of Apollo
The tour of the island was very informative. Our guide ,'Angela', is also an archeologist . This made for a much better and deeper understanding of the structures we were seeing.The boat ride to and from the island is pleasant enough but be sure to get there early if you want a seat up top. After the tour, you are given free time to wander about on your own. BE WARNED- watch your time carefully as the boat leaves when they say they will and WILL leave you behind. We saw more than a few people running for the boat and making it just in time. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are no vending machines or kiosks on the island. Be sure to wear a hat and use sun screen too as this is all outdoors. The museum was closed the day we went and that was a little dissapointing but the site itself is just amazing.
