Mike war ein unfassbar aufmerksamer, umsichtiger, liebevoller Guide. Wir waren zu viert im klimatisierten Mercedes. Nice! Keine Verkaufsfahrt! Man ist nicht genötigt, Produkte zu kaufen ( Olivenöl etc.), sondern hat ein optionales Mittagessen in einem wirklich tollen Restaurant mit sensationellem Blick ins Tal. Wir haben eine Station auf Nachfrage demokratisch einfach ausgelassen und waren stattdessen länger an einer anderen. Weil ich blöderweise meine Brille im Restaurant vergessen hatte, kam Chef Stavros am nächsten Tag in mein Hotel, um sie mir zu bringen. 120 von 100 Prozent!

We were pleasantly surprised when we were picked up and quickly discovered that our tour guide was the son of Zeus. This tour was much more than the “highlights”. If you are looking for a crammed tour bus that skims through the photo spots, this tour isn’t for you. This is an authentic, in depth, knowledgeable tour that ACTUALLY explores Crete and its important history and way of life.

Unforgettable Tour Experience

This was one of our best days visiting Crete. Our guide, Mike, was one of the best guides we have had on a tour. He was very sociable and engaging, in addition to giving us the histories and cultural knowledge of Crete. My wife’s favorite part was being able to pick fresh fruit right off the vines that were growing at homes in one of the villages. Mike explained the personalities of the people of Crete and how welcoming everyone is. Mike himself was very recognizable by others and that made our tour very personable. We definitely recommend this particular tour, one of of our most memorable days of our trip -Lora & Dan (MD-USA)
