Bus
From Heraklion city center, head to the main bus station located at 1866 Square. Look for the bus that goes to Bali; the bus number is usually 1 or 2. Purchase your ticket at the kiosk or on the bus. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Γεροπόταμος (the bus stop for Bali). Once you arrive, walk towards the beach area, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi in the city center or call one using a local taxi service. Provide the driver with the destination 'Γεροπόταμος' or 'Bali'. The drive will take around 25-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure the taxi is metered or agree on a fare before starting your journey.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Γεροπόταμος. Start from the nearest landmark, such as the Venetian Harbor, and head east along the coast. Follow the coastline, enjoying the views as you walk towards Bali. The distance is about 10 km, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water. This will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your pace.
