Bus
From Heraklion city center, head to the main bus station, KTEL Heraklion. You can take bus number 2 or 5 towards Archanes. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Archanes bus stop. Once you arrive at Archanes, you can start your hike towards Mount Juktas.

From the Archanes bus stop, walk towards the village center. Head west on the main road (Epar.Od. Archanes-Megalou Kastrou) until you reach the junction leading to Mount Juktas. Follow the signs for Mount Juktas, and you will find a marked trail that leads to the peak. The hike is about 1.5 km and will take approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Heraklion. Follow the same route to the KTEL Heraklion bus station and take bus number 2 or 5 to Archanes with your bike.
