Walking
From the center of Ioannina, head west towards the main square (Plateia Andreas Papandreou). Once you reach the square, look for the sign pointing towards the 'Castle' (Kastro). Follow the signs and walk along the busy street (Kountouriotou) until you reach the entrance of the castle area. Enter through the main gate, and continue walking straight until you see the Castle of Ioannina on your left at Glikidon 2.

If you are near the Ioannina Bus Station (Ktel), take the local bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the stop for Plateia Andreas Papandreou. From there, walk towards Kountouriotou street and follow the signs to the Castle. The castle entrance will be on your left once you reach the castle area.

If you prefer a taxi, you can hail one from any street in Ioannina or call a local taxi service. Simply tell the driver: 'Castle of Ioannina' or provide them with the address 'Glikidon 2'. The driver will take you directly to the entrance of the castle.
