Head northeast on the main road for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the entrance to the Archaeological Site of Ancient Messene.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, you can follow the path from Kalamata to Messene on foot. Start from the center of Kalamata and head towards the main road leading out of the city. This is a longer option, about 25 km, but you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. It will take approximately 5-6 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as there are limited facilities along the route.
