Getting There

Walking
If you're starting from the main port of Kos Town, head south towards the waterfront promenade. Walk along the promenade until you reach the intersection with the main road, 'Vasileos Georgiou'. Turn right onto this road and continue straight. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the intersection with 'Agiou Nikolaou'. Turn left here. Follow this road, which will lead you through the town. Look for signs pointing towards the Ancient Temple of Athena or 'Αρχαίος Ναός Αθηνάς'. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to the site on your right.

From the central bus station in Kos Town, take the local bus heading towards 'Zia'. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the nearest point to the Ancient Temple of Athena.
