From Kos Town, head to the main ferry terminal, which is located near the harbor. Look for the ferry services to Nisyros, as Little Polyvotis Crater is located there. Purchase your ticket for the ferry to Nisyros; the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once on board, enjoy the scenic views of the Aegean Sea. Upon arrival at Nisyros, disembark and follow the signs to the nearby bus stop.

At the Nisyros port, take the local bus towards the village of Mandraki. You can find the bus stop right outside the ferry terminal. The bus ride to Mandraki takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Mandraki, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Little Polyvotis Crater. If walking, head towards the signs indicating the way to the crater, which is approximately a 30-minute hike uphill. The path is well-marked, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes.

If you choose to walk from Mandraki to Little Polyvotis Crater, start from the main square of the village. Follow the signs leading to the crater, taking the route that goes past the traditional houses. As you ascend, enjoy the stunning views of the caldera and the surrounding landscape.
