From Kos Town, walk to the main bus station located near the port. Look for the bus that goes towards Mandraki. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Mandraki'. Once you get off the bus, head towards the coastline and walk along the pathway that leads to Paleokastro, which is around a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Look for signs directing you to the fortress as you approach.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Kos Town. Start your journey from the harbor area and follow the coastal road towards Mandraki. The ride to Paleokastro will take about 30 minutes. Once you reach Mandraki, park your bicycle at a safe location and walk towards the fortress, which is about a 10-minute walk from where you park.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like to walk from Kos Town to Paleokastro, start from the port area and head towards the coastline. Follow the path along the beach towards Mandraki, which will take approximately 1 hour. Once you reach Mandraki, continue walking towards Paleokastro, which is a short 10-minute walk from the waterfront.

You can also opt for a taxi if you want a more direct route. Taxis are available throughout Kos Town. Just tell the driver you want to go to Paleokastro, and they will take you directly there. The drive will take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
