    From the center of Lamia, head to the Lamia Bus Station located on 28th October Street. Look for the bus that goes to Delphi. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Delphi bus station, exit and head towards the EO48 road. Walk about 500 meters towards the north until you see the signs pointing towards the Profitis Ilias Monastery. Follow the path leading to the monastery which is located on a hill. It will take you around 15 minutes to walk up to the monastery.

  • Taxi

    You can take a taxi from anywhere in Lamia to the Profitis Ilias Monastery. Simply ask the taxi driver to take you to the monastery located on EO48, Delphi. The journey will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your trip.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in a hotel near the center of Lamia, start by walking to the Lamia Bus Station. From there, take the bus to Delphi as described above. Once you arrive at the Delphi bus station, instead of taking a taxi, you can also choose to walk. Head towards the EO48 road, then walk north for about 500 meters. Follow the signs directing you to the Profitis Ilias Monastery, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill.
