    If you are driving from the center of Mount Taygetos, head south on the main road towards Sparti. After approximately 25 km, you will reach the town of Sparti. From Sparti, follow signs to Mystras, which is about 5 km from Sparti. The road will take you directly to the entrance of the Acropolis & Fortification Castle of Mystras. Make sure to park in the designated parking area near the entrance. Note that there may be a small parking fee.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mystras via public transport, first take a bus from a nearby town in Mount Taygetos to the town of Sparti. Buses are available frequently, but it is advisable to check the local schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Sparti, look for the local bus or a taxi that goes to Mystras, which is about 5 km away.
