Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Sparta (Σπάρτη). Take the road EO Kalamatas Spartis (also known as the old national road) heading towards Kalamata. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers. As you approach the area of the Tunnel of Rocks (Τούνελ βράχων), look for signs that will lead you to the attraction. There is a small parking area available near the entrance where you can leave your vehicle. Please note that parking may have a small fee, so be prepared with some cash.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Tunnel of Rocks using public transport, you can take a bus from the main bus station in Sparta to Kalamata. Look for buses that specifically list stops along EO Kalamatas Spartis. Once you arrive at your destination, you may need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Tunnel.   If you are already in the vicinity of the Tunnel of Rocks and prefer to walk, you can follow the EO Kalamatas Spartis road directly to the attraction.
