Getting There

Walking
Starting from the central square of Nafplio, known as Syntagma Square, head towards the direction of the waterfront. Walk along the waterfront promenade, keeping the sea on your right. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, where you'll see the beautiful view of Bourtzi Island in front of you. From here, turn left and walk up the road towards the Palamidi Fortress. As you ascend the path, you'll notice signs leading to the fortress. Follow these signs until you reach the entrance of Palamidi. Once inside, explore the fortress grounds until you find the Bastion Themistoklis, which is located on the west side of the fortress complex.
