If you prefer public transportation, take a bus or ferry to Athens. Once in Athens, you can catch the Metro. Take Line 3 (the blue line) to 'Evangelismos' station. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to the base of Lycabettus Hill. Alternatively, you can take a taxi from the station to the hill if you prefer not to walk.

Once you reach the base of Lycabettus Hill, you have the option to take the Lycabettus Funicular Railway to the summit. The funicular station is located at the base of the hill and operates daily.
