Walking
If you are starting from the Archaeological Museum of Olympia, exit the museum and head south on I. Koutouzi Street. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with the main road, Leoforos Athenon. Turn right onto Leoforos Athenon and walk for another 500 meters until you see signs for the Ancient Olympia archaeological site. Enter the site through the main entrance. Once inside, follow the path leading you to the Temple of Hera, which is well signposted. The Altar of Hera is located just to the left of the Temple, approximately 200 meters from the entrance.

Starting from the town square of Olympia (Plateia), walk east on the road towards the Ancient Olympia archaeological site. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the entrance.
