Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Pyrgos, specifically at the Pyrgos Town Hall located at 36.3375° N, 25.4320° E. Head south on the main road, which is Leoforos Dimokratias, towards the direction of the coast. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction at the entrance of the village of Vlychada. At this junction, turn right onto the road leading to Vlychada. Walk for approximately 1.5 kilometers along this road, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you approach Vlychada, keep an eye out for the Tomato Industrial Museum on your left. The museum is located at Βλυχάδα 847 00. You can identify it by its distinct signage and the traditional architecture.

    From the Pyrgos central bus station, take the local KTEL bus that heads towards Vlychada. The bus usually departs every hour, so check the schedule at the station. The journey takes around 15-20 minutes, and you should disembark at the Vlychada stop. Once you get off the bus, the Tomato Industrial Museum is just a 5-minute walk away.
